Clear sight lines When you see the HorizonLine™ Computer / Laptop Table fully deployed, you have to ask yourself, "Is this a computer, or is this a table?" When the flipIT® hides the LCD flat screen or laptop away, you realize that this multi-use computer table allows more teaching methods to be implemented than any other furniture system. When computer systems are deployed, it's all about the user interface. Everything is accessible and comfortable for a wide range of user body types. Recessed flat screens, below the horizon line, promote unobstructed sight lines in the computer classroom. CPUs are off the desktop and out of the knee space. Keyboards are presented at 28 inches—the ergonomic standard for a range of adult users. Wire management reduces clutter and keeps systems organized. The C-legs keep out of the knee space. The optional bracket for hanging a CPU holder is out of the knee space. The 12 AMP 6-outlet power strip, standard equipment, has a 10 foot cord for running power easily from table to table. The power/data ports shown are optional, but they illustrate that the J-channel has enough capacity to take care of the cable clutter! Inside dimension : 1" x 1.5". The modesty panel has plenty of room for mounting power supplies and other small hubs and routers, too!

The FIK and FIH have optional key locks available, but the FIL Laptop Safe has a lock as standard equipment. For ergonomics, the computer tables are offered in two heights: 28 inches for use with keyboard on the top and 30 inches for use with a keyboard tray.

Ergonomics Applied to Mobility
Floor Glides ------------------------------------------Casters
Floor glides are standard equipment. If you desire casters for mobility, specify LC4 for Dual Locking Casters. All casters will have locks for greater stability in use. The height of the legs will be made shorter to compensate for casters, so FIK height will be 30 inches and FIL will be laptop height at 28 inches.

Contoured for Comfort
The long ends of the HorizonLine Computer Table are contoured with a generous 1.25 inch round-over that is relieved on the bottom side so every surface is smooth to the touch. The short ends, on the sides of each user, are also given a little radius edge so there is nothing sharp to snag or tear.
